Attorney Roger M. Ferris is a cum laude graduate of Saint Anselm College. He received a Juris doctor degree from New England Law. He has practiced in the Attleboro area since 1977. Attorney Ferris has served as a special assistant district attorney for District Attorney Ronald Pina and District Attorney Paul Walsh. He is presently Town Counsel forNorth Attleborough and formerly Town Counsel for Norton. Attorney Ferris is admitted to practice in the United States District Court and in the courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Attorney Ferris has practiced law since 1977. He has tried hundreds of criminal cases as an assistant district attorney and as a defense counsel. Those trials were in District as well as Superior Court ranging from misdemeanor to serious felony cases.
Attorney Ferris serves as counsel to the Town ofNorth Attleborough. This appointment has resulted in several Superior Court trials involving municipal law regarding zoning law, ordinance enforcement. As a Supervisory Assistant District Attorney in the Attleboro District Court for more than a decade, Paul F. Walsh, former District Attorney commented in 2009 that
“…Roger Ferris was the District Attorney’s office in the Attleboro area. He tried every major case from homicide to rape, robbery, drug trafficking and oversaw the prosecution of every case.”
